Inflatable Hire in East Auckland

The Fun Team works out of East Tamaki, which puts most of East Auckland inside twenty minutes of the door. If you are in Howick, Botany or Pakuranga you are closer to our gear than almost anyone else's.

We are based in East Tamaki

Being local matters more than it sounds. Short runs mean we can do earlier drop-offs, we are not stacking your delivery behind a cross-town trip, and if something needs sorting on the day we can get back out to you. Our whole fleet loads from one site in East Tamaki, so what you see online is what is sitting in the warehouse down the road from you.

What $35 delivery covers in East Auckland

Delivery is $35 to Howick, Botany Downs, Pakuranga, Pakuranga Heights, Highland Park, Dannemora, Golflands, Flat Bush, Cockle Bay, Eastern Beach, Mellons Bay, Shelly Park, Sunnyhills, Farm Cove, Burswood and East Tamaki. Bucklands Beach is $40.

That is our crew bringing the unit out, inflating it, pegging or weighting it depending on the ground, then coming back once you are finished to collect it. Nothing extra for setup.

Sizing an inflatable to an East Auckland section

Sections around Howick and Bucklands Beach vary wildly, from tight new-build courtyards in Flat Bush to the older quarter-acre places closer to the water. Measure the flat, clear space you have before you pick anything, and add a metre all round for anchoring and for the blower.

  • 3m x 3m ball pits suit a courtyard or a deck
  • 4m x 4m play parks and the basketball inflatable fit a standard back lawn
  • 5m x 4m and 5m x 4.5m themed castles need a proper back yard
  • 6m x 5.5m up to 8m x 5m for the Pirate Ship and Spiderman castles, which want a large flat lawn or a reserve

The big-ticket inflatables

East Auckland gets a lot of our larger gear because the school and club fields are close. The 12m x 5m Obstacle Course and the 13m x 4m Jungle Run are both $500 for a half day and $550 for a whole day, suitable up to 12 years. The 6.5m x 4m Giant Super Slide is $420 half day, $470 whole day.

Under-5s

If the guests are little, the castles are usually the wrong answer. The ball pits and the 4m x 4m play parks, including the farm yard, jungle and unicorn versions, are built low and soft for toddlers. Ball pits start at $200 for a half day.

Adding to the inflatable

Most East Auckland bookings are not just the inflatable. Face painters and balloon twisters run from an hour and a half through to four hours. There are fun food machines, tables and chairs in both adult and kid sizes, bubble machines, safety mats and an arch photo backdrop. If you want someone watching the unit for the duration, we hire supervisors in four-hour blocks.
